Salam

I have noticed that we tend to be good at advising others. But we tend to be off the mark when advising ourselves. Is it because of hypocrisy ? or is it because the believer is a mirror of a believer? Or should we consider it as a seperate duty obligated upon us because of the, say better knowledge we possess, compared to the person being advised ?
I feel the exact same way everytime i post on SF! But i tell myself that at least we can try to help others if we can't help ourselves...
