Are you saying there are violent protests in Bahrain?

The Bahraini ruler has already said he going to make changes under proposed reforms:

I do not support Iran, merely want some kind of bilateral agreement with them on the political sphere (like Umman has at the moment). Please don't make the mistake of confusing that with the matter of Aqeedah.
