Take this scenario, a guy comes to pray in masjid in sleeveless and shorts covering the knee cap. The same guy goes to his non muslim manager's home, neatly dressed formals, full hand, ironed clothes. Is it shirk?

is this shirk??? Are we really asking this?

Did the guy go to his boss in a suit and prostrate infront of him?
did he go to a mosque in shirts etc... and refuse to do "sajood"?
