Anyone who suggests that we compromise our deen for the sake of unity or for any reason has already compromised his or her deen. The reason Muslims are "inferior" has nothing to do with not falling in line with the kuffaar. It is simply because of our deviations from the sunnah. Strict adherence to the Qur'an and sunnah will save the ummah, not unity with deviants or kuffaar. We don't even take a look at any of the minor sunnahs but we try to be extremely accommodating to the kuffaar. I think this inferiority complex stems from colonialism. Have you noticed how many of us are extremely welcoming and overly friendly with non-Muslims but we don't behave in such a manner with other Muslims?
