Is crying in salah encouraged and to what extent? If a person cry's too loud or too emotionally, can it invalidate the salah? I understand that some people's hearts are softer than other, but is it still preferred to be moderate in your crying rather than bawl your eyes out?

Also, is it ok to pray behind imam who cries to such an extent that it disrupts there recitation and makes it hard to understand?
