I had intended to start reading the translation of the Qur'an, along with commentary. I do not know enough Arabic to read the Qur'an so learning surahs has been slow going; involving review of transliterations, utilizing online sources and then listening to audio recitations repeatedly to make sure I get the words right.

Can I listen to a recitation while following along with my finger or must I recite it myself?
