wa'alaykum assalaam.

Dear sis Acacia,

Just a few questions:
Have you checked with the hospital, etc of your medical condition? if so, what's the diagnose ?
How long have you been experiencing this symptoms ?
Do the symptoms occur at certain time or randomly at any time? if they occur at certain time, at which time? dusk ? morning? afternoon? evening ? night ? etc
When you sleep, do you experience any nightmere, bad dreams, etc such as falling from high places, etc ?
No, I have not checked with medical professionals about this. These particular symptoms started slowly after I started praying regularly. The symptoms are the same and seem to occur at random times - I have not noticed a 'trigger' or a specific time when they are worse. For instance, today, I was fine in the morning and able to get through a significant amount of work and salah but when I stood for Zuhr I started to experience difficulties. I pushed through it (barely) and did my duas and zikr afterwards but was feeling worse and as I went to get on with work, I was overwhelmed by a need to sleep. 15 minutes later, I woke and was still in that mood but not quite as tired. Later, as I was praying Asr, for the first time ever, I felt fear of something behind me but I pushed myself to concentrate and continued my salah by reciting audibly. By the time I finished my duas and zikr, I was feeling like normal again. These are very bizarre for me. As for dreams, I would rather not comment on those.
