It specifically says 'we have no intention of harming the citizens of Kano as long as they do not confront us'. It also says that as well as targeting security officials, they will target the Christian Association of Nigeria. Perhaps they really were behind the bombings on churches (if these churches were somehow affiliated with CAN otherwise, I highly doubt they had done such attacks.
