I'd like to see responses from non-Hanafis to this issue. It has come up time and time again that synthetic alcohol or alcohol that isn't sourced from dates or grapes is used as a flavouring in many consumable products. But, I see non-Hanafis eat and drink these things without hesitation. What is the opinion of the Shafi'is, Malikis, Hanbalis, and even Salafis with regards to this?
