Shaykh Taha Karaan (HA) is very knowledgeable and wrote various refutations directed at Shiiasm besides his lecture series (he is distant cousin of my wife and we know his family well.) This was mainly to counter the influx of Shiiasm in the Western Cape that started in the late 90's ( as propagated by Ahlul Bait Foundation.)

Yes brother, I was a Salafi, then converted to Real Islam, Thank God for a light he provided to me through Imam Hussain (as).
