How do you bring this forum into this matter? You take one example (your opinion of 'extreme' and out of context) and compare it with known deviant sects (Shiia is btw far more deviated than Salafiyyun.) Would you not consider it quite a jump/leap of faith from 'hater' of Shiia to 'lover' of Shiia? Understandable if someone came from OUTSIDE Islaam and joined aforementioned sects but to have such a change of heart INSIDE Islaam is a bit far fetching...(don't you think?)
I agree it's a leap of faith from Shia hater to Shia lover. It's impossible to deny they are opposites.
As far as my opinion of extremism, I think you'll agree most of the world would find putting something in your mouth while talking to be both unnatural, degrading to women, and therefore extreme. Extreme is whatever most of the world doesn't practice and in this case, this is an example of extremism.
