assalaamu alaikum

if you are using MS Word, after getting the print dialog (by selecting File --> Print), under "no. of pages per sheet" select 2 (or whatever you want) then under "resize to" select the size of the paper on which you are printing (A4 etc.) Then click OK to start printing.

BTW this is for versions upto Word 2003. I have no idea whether the modern versions (2007 and 2010) work the same way.

If you are printing a PDF, download and install "Foxit PDF Reader" (pls google for it) and make it your default PDF Reader" Open the required file select File --> Print. In the dialog box under the option "Page Scaling" select "Fit to paper" and under "Page Arrange" select "Multiple pages per sheet" additional options will now appear regarding the no. of pages. Select them and the correct paper size and then print.

wassalaam
