About offering janazah salah, yes. But if you attend a non-muslim's funeral (where they don't pray janazah salah), just for the sake of those who are living (like the example at post #7) does this speak to that too or is there a different ayah or hadith that speaks specifically to this?
Yes like brother umar has mentioned, it's prohibited.

I have read what Ulama said about visiting and consoling a deceased relative's family to maintain good relations and family bounds, even if they are non Muslim. Just so long as its not at the actual funeral.
