Default Lowering gaze at school?
I'm a sophomore in high school and im trying my best to lower my gaze when walking through the halls and in class. It can be tough sometimes, especially in a western country (United States) in public high school.

Im doing my best, but there is just one thing im wondering about.
You see, most of my teachers are female, some relatively young. It gets kind of hard to not look at them since they're standing right in front of the room, next to the board. Plus I have to pay attention to their lectures and everything. Is it permissible to not worry about lowering my gaze if its for learning purposes?
