Default Pledge of Allegiance at school?
I go to a public school in the United States.
Now, I don't know if they do this in every city, but in my school every morning we stand up, face the American flag at the front of the room and recite something called the "Pledge of Allegiance"

It goes like this:

I pledge allegiance,
To the flag,
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic,
for which it stands,
one nation,
under God,
indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.

Now by saying these words, im pledging allegiance to America and its people. I was thinking, as a Muslim, am I allowed to do this?
As far as I know, we're not allowed to ally with non-Muslims.

Anyone know the ruling on this?
