I remember back in middle school we had to do this every day. Best thing to do is just stand up and stay quite. Be respectful, but don't say anything. If they start looking at you, just recite something else.

Just don't cause any unecessary problems. I don't know the ruling on this, but this what I did.

Ya, don't say anything; I guess people will speak that non-sense in a unison and loud voice, so no one will notice if you simply move your mouth withouth saying anything. Or maybe you could make some Istighfar..
