Now I'm really surprised to find out that he is actually Deobandi as well, so why are there not piles of refutations against him? Makes me wonder is the attack on J.I people from Deobandis really standing up for the principle or is just out of partisanship?

This is failing of a single individual and not the creed of the majority.
I had added a statement about his short flick with modernity and then turning away from that.
This should be hint enough for us to ignore his failings, particularly when he is no more.
