Ofcourse men with small children should also be okay as long as they do not have a woman with them since in Western countries, you can never be sure whether the male and female are married. Better to ask for their marriage license before allowing them to get into the taxi just to be sure. I guess even transporting two males might be a bit problematic since they could actually turn out to be gays. Therefore, the best bet would be to allow only one male to transported in the taxi.

This is ridiculous logic.

If a person is married, their word is sufficient. A marriage license is not from one of the requirements of shari'ah, either. Do you expect the taxi driver to go look for the witnesses of the marriage???

As for homosexuals - again, it is absurd to assume that if there is more than one man asking for a taxi ride, all of them must be gay. And males are not considered ghayr mahram to any other males just how females aren't considered ghayr mahram to other females. Are you trying to be facetious?
