Why don't the ulama confront Muslim businessmen and chambers of commerce that sell things related to haram activities, such as Valentines Day or Christmas celebrations?

Why don't the ulama take a stand against the billion dollar industries which are shaping Muslim societies with their constant marketing of haram activity, including shirk?

Why aren't they risking their livelihood to lead the believers in the worship of Allah alone?

Who doesn't love his/her spouse and wants to show that love in various acceptable ways, eventually becoming persuaded by constant barrage of marketing to buy this or that wedding gown ($10K for a wedding ceremony being standard for middle class- why not for a gown you wear only once?)

or diamond ring ($10K ring- why not?- just go into debt for 6 months- what orphans do you know about anyways?)

and of course buying roses and chocolates on Valentines Day (St Valentino- anonymous catholic saint anointed by the Catholic church of shirk!!!)?

Why not follow the Roman Catholic church and Pope Gelasius I who first identified Valentines Day to venerate a little known martyred priest/bishop/saint?

Why not follow 14th century CE Chaucer England which infused lustfulness and liberal 'love' with Valentines Day?

Why shouldn't we Muslims allow Muslim businesses to propagate kufr and shirk among us?

BTW, Italy and Rome has been prophecized to be liberated for Islam sometime in the future, insha Allah. What are we doing following dead popes and English poets when we should be propagating Islam to these people who see clearly that the Catholic church is corrupt beyond imagination?
