If by "rent", you mean interest, then the permissible way is to give all the interest to charity without hoping for reward - so it won't count as sadaqah. The best way would of course be to alert the bank to not give you interest but if that isn't possible, then the former option is best.


Yes, of course one cannot expect to count it as a sadaqah while it's not yours but I need some way to get rid of it.
The bank will automatically give me rent, they say it will cost them money if they make an exception in their administration.
So I will receive rent/interest each year.

What would be better? Giving it back to the bank or giving it to charity?
And can I give it to every type of charity or is it for example not permissible to give it to a 'mosque-building project'
because of the nature of this money?

And could you please provide proof brother?
