Inshaallah later this year (before October) I will apply for a course to study at University. I am hoping to do something within the scientifc field. My heart is pretty much set on Dentistry- my second option (original plan was medicine)-as I don't think I have the bravery/heart to do what doctor's do. I was wondering is their any careers out there in which there is a demand for muslims females.

sister if your intention is to aid the muslims, please consider engineering. Its the future and the ummah needs engineering more than anything else in terms of "secular" studies (for want of a better term)

may Allah guide you to the best choices and make you an instrument of benefit to the ummah and make it an instrument of benefitting you in the hereafter. Ameen

whatever you decide, work hard inshAllah. Muslims are terrible students at university and we really need to work hard to improve our situation inshAllah. Whoever is reading this,please work really hard in yoru studies inshAllah and aim for firsts in every one of your modules and work hard in your careers inshAllah and have the intention to benefit the ummah with your wealth, skills etc
