Hadhrat Shaykh Al-Haj Abd al-Rahim (may Allah enlighten his grave), not only took bay’ah (the pledge) of jihad at the hands of Hadhrat Sayyad Ahmad Shaheed, but was also martyred in the Battlefield alongside both him and Hadhrat Mawlana Shah Isma’eel Shaheed (may Allah have mercy on them all).[1]
That's a bit incorrect, Shah Abdur Rahim Shaheed Rahimahullah was not martyred in the battlefield of Balakot along with Hadhrat Sayyid shaheed Rahimahullah but before that, in the Battle of Mayar. Hadhrat Haji sahib's own shaykh Mian Ji Nur Muhammad rahimahullah also took bay'ah at Hadhrat Sayyid shaheed's hands and took part in jihad, but was sent back before his murshid's martyrdom.

Hadhrat Haji sahib's first shaykh, Hadhrat Mawlana Sayyid Naseer ud Din Shaheed Naqhbandi Rahimahullah, who was also the son in law of Hadhrat Mawlana Shah Muhammad Ishaq Muhaddith Dehlawi Rahimahullah, was the third Ameer of the Jihad movement and died fighting the british at Ghazni during the first afghan war.
