How Abu Bakr RA became muslim. Our Rasool saw was an Al Amin before prophethood with a good Akhlaq.

My grandfather in India is 90 years old, till now he stands and offers his salat & works to earn little bit of money in this age. If you ask him proof of some sunnah he cant bring reference from Hadith books. Rather he would just tell that I learnt from a old knowledgeable man in my village before 80 years. There are lots of old people in India like that, if you check their Akhlaq(character) with hadith book it matches. But now unfortunately, people who read Sahih Hadith loudly from pulpit violate it the next day.

You better stop asking for proofs. Nowadays some modern people think that they are reforming Islam and can teach the old people Islam with Sahih Hadith. Always know one thing, they are better than us as there are lots of fitna in our period.

In tableegh jamaat, they wont pay importance to where and how you are placing your hand, rather they want people to come to the masjid and offer their 5 times Salah. I know some groups who want to over-smart others and start finding mistakes in other's Salah, fiqh & even term them as Kafirs.

Allah knows the best.
Again Islam is not about rules, regulations - Its the complete way of life as shown by Rasool saw.
