If istagatha is so good how many examples, daif or sahih, are there of the best of generations doing it? Please give me rough idea.

Salam 'Aleykum,

There are many websites for Du'ah online, search all of them and you won't find examples of this, the Quran teaches us to make Du'ah for Allah directly and so does the Sunnah.
