I don't believe that you were ever actually in love with this guy...i don't believe you know what love is as this person treated you very badly and didn't seem to have a character that deserves to be loved...i think it was more like a bad habit...it may take a while to overcome these feelings but trust me when i say with time these feelings will fade away. You need to find other things to occupy your time with. Look around in your area maybe there are Islamic classes going on? or pick up some other hobby or get involved in some charity work...try to stay busy all the time for when our mind is free that is when shaytan strikes the most

Concentrate on your relationship with Allah, make tawbah for the past and have firm belief that Allah is the most forgiving and will forgive you and will inshaAllah be pleased with the pain you are experiencing due to leaving a certain sin for His sake

Try not to think too much about this whole love thing and finding the perfect partner, your happyness should not be dependent on some guy. Make dua that Allah grants you a pious husband...in the mean time focus on trying to become a person who deserves a pious husband
