Salaam all - It amazes me how ignorant we have become - how one even thinks of making a statement like 'excessive praise of the prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him)' - when Allah (swt) and the Angels have praised the prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) - Allah says: Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who believe! call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation. (Al-Ahzab Verse 56) - who can ever think to have praised the messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) enough.
