Bilal Phillips & Shaykh Al-Albani (RA) see SHIRK in Attahiyyat which was taught to Sahaba (RA) by Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and reported in in Saheeh Bukhari:

This is ***Shirk!***

التحیات للھ والصلوات والطیبات
السلام علیک ایھا النبی و رحمة اللھ و برکاتھ
اسلام علینا وعلی عباداللھ الصالحین
اشھد ان لا الھ الا اللھ و اشھد ان محمد عبدہ و رسولھ
Translation: All services rendered by words, by acts of worship, and all good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you,0 Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings. Peace be upon us and upon Allah's upright servants. I testify that there is no god but Allah and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger

Evidence:'Abdullah Ibn Masud (RA) said: While observing prayer behind the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) we used to recite: Peace be upon Allah, peace be upon so and so. One day the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said to us: Verily Allah is Himself Peace. When any one of you sits during the prayer. he should say: All services rendered by words, by acts of worship, and all good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you,0 Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings. Peace be upon us and upon Allah's upright servants, for when he says this it reaches every upright servant in heaven and earth (and say further): I testify that there is no god but Allah and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Then he may choose any supplication which pleases him and offer it. [Bukhari]

Shaykh Yusuf Estes sees shirk in the statment when someone says, "I will grow a Beard"!

Yasir Qadhi famously labelled Shaykh Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki (RA) as the BIGGEST MUSHRIK and then apologised and retracted his comments when he couldn't defend hi emotional outbursts from Qur'aan and Sunnah.

So much for seeing Shirk in things and statements.

To top it all Yasir Qadhi's famous friend Tawfeeq Chawdry openly calls for Muslims Scholars to particpate in the famour war on Terror which is REFUTED by scholars around the world!

I agree this isn't about being Wahabi or Sufi, its about being ignorant!

Qasida Burda has shirk but Scholars participating with Kuffar in war of "Terror" is absolute Tawheed...***GO FIGURE***

This is the intellectual and academic capacity & reality of people calling things Shirk and misguidence.
