Its not a Deobandi thing, anyways, if you observe the numbers of Deobandi are much much more than salafis, so its possible you may not have noticed. Bro Siraj Ud Din who is a user on this forum is doing his engineering and nearly a Hafiz now, 26+ paras finished. He is into Tabligh too, while I was in khurooj I came across a small place (in a not so developed part of India) where 16 madrasah's and nearly as many maktabs were established by Deo/TJ's, we got 2 kids of our saathis to join the Hifz course after we completed our khurooj. Not to speak of of my bro. 3 kids of my neighboring Halaqa TJ zimmedaar are Hafiz's, of those 3, 2 are Aalims/ Muftis faarigh from Deo, the 3rd one is I think has started Aalimiyatt. If Deo/TJ's hadn't encouraged ilm e Deen, why would we have so many madrasah's in the first place? At the place I was living before, a big madrasah was started named after an old TJ zimmedaar, now that madrasah has grown to accomodate 100 kids
Allhaumma Barik Fihee :Alhamd:
Heck! We are the one's who are into Ilm e Deen like no other.
May Allah SWT grant and save my ikhlaas. Summa aameen.
