SALAAM ALYKUM

I keep a pet arowana fish. Born and bred in captivity The fish tank is very big. I give the best vitamins and i try my best to care for him.

I have a question concerning food. It only eats live crickets.Is it okay to feed live food to fish. This is his what he eats in nature.

Is it wrong for muslims to feed live food to animals? So i know for the next time not to buy such a fish.
