It sounds o.k to me.....

because not feeding it would be a sin wouldnt it ??

I also have a question regarding pets..

I have a pet cat i just wanted to find out if there is any reward in keeping a pet? because your feeding it and caring for it,

and I have heard our beloved prophet used to like cats and he let a cat/cats eat from the same plate as him is this true

and does this make it sunnah ??????

and do we get reward because our prophet liked cats ???

please answer the brothers question first

I also have a cat and I was told that it is virtuous (do not know about Sunnah....?) to look after it, we have cats freely walking in and out of the masjid and no one bothers them.
