Assalamu alaykum

if was to join a tariqa it will probally have to be qadiri, because of the connection Abdul Qadir Jilani Rahimullah.
but i dont have a clue about tariqas.

The Shadhilis are connected to Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani.......... An unbroken back to Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani... And there are many Hanbalis in the Syria, Palestinian area who are Shadhili....
