To say that one understands Allah , he is limiting Allah in doing so. As humans, we can understand the finite. We can understand things that have a distinct beginning and a distinct end. We can understand limitations. We cannot comprehend something limitless. If we were to do so, then that something is not so limitless as we thought it would be.

Allah is beyond comprehension. In the other life, anything is possible with the will of Allah but this life, we are created as limited creatures. In the next life, we would be superior to our current states, being even able to see Allah , when it is impossible to see Allah in this life. Even the angels have yet to see their lord.
