When we sleep, our souls taken are into barzakh, are they not? Living souls are returned but Allah swt holds the ones that are deceased.

NNoor bro - any daleel regarding some souls are allowed to leave their graves? when you say this, do you mean they can roam around Earth?

I don't really have the resources to find quotes for you. If you can get a hold of Kitab alRuh by Imam ibn alQayyim, it should answer all your questions. Otherwise, if you are familiar with the story of israa and miraaj, you know that the Prophet

mentions passing by the grave of Musa

and seeing him praying in his grave. He also mentions that when he

reached masjid alaqsa, he led all the other prophets (including Musa) in prayer there, which proves that the souls can not only move around in barzakh/jannah/the heavens, but also on Earth.
