Walikom Assalam.
This is what I think of, if Mohammad s.a.w had practiced that for some time, why not me? just sometimes. I wanted to go both ways BUT I can't, as I am a Hanafi. In your lingo, a blind follower. Changing Madhab is a great pact, needs thorough study and mercy of Allah except which none can walk in light. I cannot switch on to rehearsals that go against to my Madhhab. It would be an incarnate lie. only if I change it, but one need to be scholarly enough. May Allah show us the right of paths.ameen.

Yes, I myself have no knowledge about my Madhhab but Alhamdolillah I am, from what I read and observe, more than thankful to Allah that I am not a sectarian. I am just a simple Muslim. These are the different schools of thought and not sects .

There are many questions which I can't abjure just by saying I am a Hanafi. I need to study to fix my mind, which way I need to move Insha Allah and to answer these queries regarding. It makes no difference, I believe in Allah and Prophet s.a.w. The ultimate goal is one, we are to please our lord with our deeds and nothing more than that.

okay, Insha Allah. Brother for yor advice.
Shalom Aleikhom,

I do not know you well, so I wont know if you are BLIND or not. If you agree with Mr. Hanifa's opinions and conclusions from his effort , that is not being BLIND. BUT, when you do not verify anything and buy a system based on BRAND NAME or MARKET POPULARITY, that is being a BLIND SHEEP. As you have stated, you are learning and praying to God , I do the same to. When according to "other schools of thought" my Salat is nullified, how do I simply call them "school of thought" ? It may not be another sect, but it is pretty close. After all, all my salat are useless if they are right, and all their salats are useless if I am right. Unless ofcourse if you believe that no matter what you do , following their opinion will earn you a place in Paradise.

As a student, I do realize how difficult it is for a traditional muslim to practice Islam without a Fiqh. It is so IMMENSELY difficult that one has to stop studying or become a scholar, there is simply no middle zone. Having said that, I know that all of you have love for God in your hearts, you believe in Him, you believe in the angels, you believe in his kitaab, you believe in the last day, you believe in his messengers, regardless of our differences, you are my brothers/sisters in deen.

@Nomadic

Salamun alaikum,

You made lots of assumptions there about my education/knowledge on deen. You made awful remarks about me . Your words were very angry. It does not suit a follower of Muhammad, the man known for unitiy and peace, to be this harsh. If you have problems with my "username", why not ask me first instead of assuming I am devil incarnate and then cursing me ? If misbehaving and name calling is your deen, then let me invite you to Islam. It is indeed a peaceful system/deen.

Peace be on you
