When a hadith rejector rejects hadith, it is not because they think it is contrary to the Quran; in fact, they reject hadith because they are contrary to their own desires. They are all modernists; some try and say homosexuality is halal, some try and say stoning (rajm) is not a punishment, some try and say the five prayers are not obligatory and so on.
