I stated that I dont know the strength of the hadeeth, but this info may be usefull to the poster

If you know the strength of the hadeeth, please let us know, i am currious.

...but this was qouted from Imam tabari (RA) was he "deluded"?

The beleif in mount Qaf is not a matter of aqeedah, so even a weak (not fabricated) hadeeth can be used.
