Asalamu Alaykum. When we say goodbye to someone we say Khuda Hafith or Allah Hafith.

Can you tell me its origin, and any sources about this? I never read any hadith where the prophet (saw) said these words?

Are they Bidah? I would like to see what you know about this matter.
