Each School is strict in some areas and laxer in others - just depends on the subject. In reality this question is pointless because choosing a Madhab should not be based on hardest or easiest, but on availability of of information.

Find a person who follows a madhab, who is knowlwdgable, and learn from them - dont over fill your brain with various rulings of each madahab, just focus on one, and stick with it. Dont study each schools usool seperately and choose which one you like best like its a sweater - just pick the one most available to you.
