grant him tremendous success in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen.
Another thing he can consider is to do sort of a "market research" on the area and see what is needed but not being provided for, and start that. It could be anything from Quran tutoring to Tajweed classes to any sort of Islamic education/classes.
I know a brother who started out providing Tajweed classes because there was no one else doing so in the area. In the beginning, it was a few local kids who he was tutoring at his house. Then it moved to the local Masjid with more kids, and progressed from there.
, now he runs several branches of his school all over the USA and is doing well financially as well as from the aspect of earning a tremendous reward for his work,

There are many possibilities these days, especially with the availability of internet as well (he can consider doing something online also), one just has to really think about it and make lots of dua,
