I think the apostrophe is just to indicate the arabic letter 'ain' for proper pronounciation. It won't be necessary in the official documents. I also doubt if they will allow apostrophe in official documents.

Ya i know its for the ain..but i had the same doubt whether officially they would allow us to use the apostrophe....
