There are many positive points about the Jewish community from brother FususAlHikam's post.

These factors have to be present in a group if it wants to be an enduring culture that lasts for centuries and centuries, and not die out with a whimper after a few decades.

Truth is destines to prevail and falsehood is destined to perish.
Jewish people have coined a doctrine of chosen-ness for themselves and that is not the truth. Allah(SWT)
hasi contradicted them very poignantly. He(SWT) said that if they think they are so dear to Allah(SWT) (that He has chosen them) then ask them to wish for death (that way they shall be united with their beloved one). Allah(SWT) further adds that they shall never wish to die. Allah(SWT) did prefer them over other nations for He sent disproportionately large number of Prophets(AS) to that tribe. But the way they treated the Prophets(AS) is amongst the most unfortunate chapters of human history. After the end of the chain of Prophets(AS) that preference too is over as is clear from the tone employed by Lord Most High. The Jewish people too are obliged to follow Prophet of Islam (PBUH). Unfortunately they have been rejecting that for more than 1433 years.

But you should be telling that to us Maulana. I know you have on the back of mind that Muslims should have all these properties that this tribe is manifesting but there will be always new comers here at SF so I have indulged in above cud-chewing.
