Assalamu Alaykum

I make dua to Allah everyones fine. I have been away a long long time.
Anyway, previously I got help from Sunniforum regarding many deeni and dunyawi things so here goes.
Theres a virus on my notebook pc Sony Vaio, which just wouldn't go away despite repeated formatting and reinstalling windows.
Basically what happens is U R 420 these words/letters keep showing up wherever theres a typing space, triggered by a press on a key on the keybboard
, antivirus isnt helping (norton,kaspersky).
So is the only option left throwing the notebook away?
It has all my bayans and islamic material plus hundreds of pages of notes made from bayans, and books.

Can anyone please give me a suggestion as to what to do?
Jazakumullahu Khairan fiddarayn.

I've removed numerous viruses from both my computer as well as friends. Here's the best thing to do:

1. Download this program called RKill from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/down...ti-virus/rkill

This will terminate the virus' processes, however IT WILL NOT REMOVE THE VIRUS ITSELF. This program simply allows you to run your anti-virus cleaner on your computer. If the virus is not allowing you to access the internet, you may need to download these programs from a separate computer, stick them on some external device (USB flash drive, cd, dvd) and run them from the external device.

2. After you've ran RKill, do a full-scan of your computer using Malware Bytes, found here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free. It should take a few hours depending on your CPU.

Rkill and MalwareBytes will knock out 99% of viruses out there. Oh, and make sure to update Malware Bytes before you run it, because this might be a recent virus.

If you have anymore questions, make sure to google the name of the virus program that is running on your computer, as there most likely is a tutorial on how to remove it from one of the numerous anti virus sites out there.

PS: Some viruses make it seem as if your data has been wiped from your computer. This most likely is not the case. I've encountered this issue before and the virus merely hid the folders. Enable your computer to be able to view hidden folders and files. Tutorial here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...es-in-windows/
