You people are confusing those who deem certain Mawlid celebrations as Bid'ah with Salafi reasoning.

Those who deem certain Mawlid celebrations as Bid'ah without being Salafi, do so on the ground of solid juristic principles, which go further than the salafi-styled "the Salaf didn't to that, therefore it's Bid'ah".
