Assalamu alaikum brothers & sisters.
Just a question about hajj?
A close friend of mine who is practising & a very good influence on me told me recently that before we go to hajj we should clear, repent & not go back to any prior sinning.
Eg: he just sold his home due to RIBA and now is renting and bought some land which he will build a house on over the next 4-5 years or as money permits.
He said upon selling that he can now go to hajj.
Is this a good attitude to have?
Cause I know many people going to hajj, still paying RIBA, lying, backbiting etc...
