I cant copy and paste your statements Maripat as I have not read the fatwa, Fatwas to me are rulings made by man that are not binding. I dont agree with all of the rest of the statements. I am not assuming that all muslims are terrorists. I am simply asking what is the definition of a martyr? A martyr to 1 muslims is not the same to another.
Coming from a country that has experienced conflict, I would condemn any catholic who claims they represented me when they killed innocent people in this country.

And as for the reward for females, if they chose 72 males to serve them, what is the problem there? Are men the only sex with needs and wants in that area? I am not speaking personally here, it is a general question for the female population. Please dont reply by saying that only a western woman would say something like that.
hi ftannous

with our limited knowledge of the jannah, I always wonder why are we squabbling over the definition of houris ("are they wives or not?") and about women's rights over there. Houris are the flowers of the jannah, but the Muslim women (solehah) are the real flowers of the jannah and nothing could be compared between the two.

As per having the number of partners to satisfy lust in the jannah (and equal treatments between man and woman), , everyone's heart is cleaned from any dirt or sins before he/she enters the jannah and I bet everyone who enters the heaven wouldn't even think of it the same way we think about lust here (all the ill-feeling is cleaned from the heart). There's not a bit of worry or ill-feeling in the jannah . And everyone is happy with no exception. So to judge the condition in the heaven as the way it is here on Earth is misleading. We can't use our current condition as a yardstick to speculate the conditions in the heaven.
