Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatUllahi wa barakathuhu

I also avoid (insha'Allah) nike because of its support for child labor.. no matter what the excuse (" oh at least we give them jobs blah blah " subhan'Allah looking at pictures of 4-5 year old children who are skin and bones(hardly any skin) who lok so unhealthy yet working so hard for a meager few bucks.. child labor is disgusting and soo heartbreaking may Allah Subhanhu Wa Tha'ala guide us and keep us one the straight path ameen )

As harsh as it may seem, that's business - you manufacturer a product at the lowest possible price & then try to retail at the highest...

Where would these children work, if it was not in the circumstances you mention? How would the whole family survive?
