Unfortunately, we regularly have threads on SF in which either Tasawwuf or Tablighi Jamat are targets of criticm. This is an extremely sad situation in which common ppl with no religious standing start criticising established Ulama, Mashaikh and Noble efforts like TJ. May Allah(SWT) help us focus on ourselves, and give us Aql e Saleem so that we start respecting all the efforts of Deen.

I request all the SF members who can understand Urdu, to listen to this Bayan by Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani Sahab Db.

Mufti Sahab has been doing the Tafseer of Surah Asr for the last 3 months at Jamia Masjid Bait Ul Mukarram, Karachi. In all the lectures his talks have moved around the topic of Dawah and its status in Shariah.

Tafseer Surah Asr - VII (Tableegh Farz e Kifaya Kab Hai)

I highly reccommend everyone to listen to all the Bayanat of Tafseer Surah Asr by Mufti Sahab Db. InshAllah you wont have any more confusions about the different efforts of deen.

In Today's Bayan, at the end while summarising the topic, Mufti Sahab Db said,

"Alhamdulillah, at all the different stages and eras of this Ummah, we've been blessed with different efforts of Deen which fulfilled the obligation of Dawah and Tabligh. It is unfair to say that this effort was not present before.

In my opinion, the effort revived by Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Sahab, which we see in the form of Tablighi Jamat, is the Best Way for Common Muslims to Fulfill their Obligations of Dawah. There are people who criticize this effort. But we need to see the effort based on its net results. There might be some individual mistakes. But when such efforts expand the way TJ has, these minor issues arise. But you have to see ratio of Benefits to Harms.

Alhamdulillah, due to TJ, the message of Islam has been transmitted to every corner of the Globe. In TJ people learn the right way of doing Dawah and also learn other matters of Deen. Therefore we should look at the overall benefits, which have been immense, instead of looking at minor issues.

May Allah(SWT) bless those, who are involved in this effort and give it further success"
