Just by reeading through it, i dont see any indication that he did this in a violent manner or in a way which was oppressive or offensive, and if this is the case then this brother did " amr bil maroof wa nahi anil munkar", advised a group of muslims to fear Allah and leave this sin which is being done openly . MashAllah may Allah give us all similar strength
