brother usama some non-muslim kafir collegues of mine were in the UAE and even they were shocked at the kind of fahsa available on TV and outside. I was just told the other day by a local emirati that around 40 out of 100 emiratis drinks alchohol and this statistic was told to me by more than a few people.

Statistics is a highly manipulative science. What was the sample size chosen by this emirati? I'm not saying that they don't drink but this thing must change.

There is a nice article in Urdu by Mufti Taqi Usmani on Statistic's highly manipulative nature and how a non opinion is shown as the majority opinion.
