brother usama some non-muslim kafir collegues of mine were in the UAE and even they were shocked at the kind of fahsa available on TV and outside. I was just told the other day by a local emirati that around 40 out of 100 emiratis drinks alchohol and this statistic was told to me by more than a few people.

Alcohol seems to fit the smaller picture aside the largely murkier drug and substance abuse these youngsters indulge in. if they dont find marijuana or other narcotic stuff they engage in Tramadol abuse.. and many of them are from good respectable families. to the point that they threaten ward nurses or duty doctors to self inflict wounds or even slash their own wrists just for one dose of of Pethidine or Tramadol.. and its a sad reality. these guys are generally in the age group of 15 - 30.

I feel the expat arabs are largely responsible for their corruption. for example if u see their women even back in the late 80's.. majority of them observed purdah.. lead modest lives even with the new found wealth. now when thier husbands took these lebanese.. Moroccans and Tunisians as their second / Third wives.. they brought these trojan horses of fitnah straight into their homes. the niqab came off.. their burqa .. turned a fashion statement adorned with swaroski crystals.

This wasnt so before as the trend was to get brides from hyderabad, India.. and obviously these ladies lead conservative lives. now with these Supermodel extravagant wives came in a culture of vanity.. they left children back home to the care of filipino or indonesian maids and enjoyed their shopping / chopping..

These kids then attended celebrirty schools like Choufiat etc.. where they pay something like 60,000 Dirhams per Annum for KIndergarten..! as opposed to the yesteryears where they were largely groomed in National Arabic schools getting thier culture as well as a dose of deen however small it would be..

so now the trend is.. Alcohol.. drugs..roadrage and rave parties at private villas with or without their western mates..

so this is the state of affairs bros.. where not far away at Fujairah Dibba, are resting a group of Sahabah

who laid down their lives fighting in way of Allah
